Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our central engineering team, supporting our growth and expansion in the European IT market.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in requirement refinement and planning quality assurance activities, working closely with the Development Team and Product Owner.
- Create, maintain, and manage test plans and scenarios, ensuring the quality of our products and deliverables.
- Understand and foresee the quality state of our products and deliverables, driving QA ways of working to improve testing excellence and test management.
- Ensure regular QA reporting is organized and done, analyzing test and defect results to improve ways of working and artifacts accordingly.
Requirements
- Open-minded QA Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience in application testing, including frontend and backend parts of the product.
- Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps, Selenium, databases, Linux, and Git.
- Experience in testing SOAP and REST APIs, as well as hands-on experience in test management tools.
- Knowledge of different QA methodologies and experience in transforming requirements to testing artifacts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Desirable Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree or relevant education.
- Interest in testing industry evolution and CI/CD practices.
- Experience in scripting, such as JS, Python, or any other language.
- ISTQB Foundations Certification.
- Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks.
