Key Responsibilities

As a Quant developer in our DeFi team, you will be responsible for designing and developing our trading algorithms and improving our software stack for trading in various DeFi venues. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, making decisions, and collaborating in a fast-paced, flat team structure.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating on developing our highly competitive trading algorithm and platform.
  • Designing and implementing state-of-the-art, industry-leading trade execution and connectivity solutions.
  • Researching and analyzing DeFi protocols using on-chain data and trading strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with updates to DeFi protocols.
Requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Must-haves:
    • Proficiency in applied mathematics, statistics, and numerical modeling.
    • Knowledge of cryptocurrency.
    • Proficiency in one or more blockchain-related programming languages, such as Go, Rust, Solidity, or Move.
    • Comfortable working in a Linux R&D environment, including Git and related tools.
    • Ability to research independently.
    • Proficiency in English.
  • Nice-to-haves:
    • Experience in blockchain analytics, DeFi protocols, and MEV.
    • In-depth knowledge of concrete blockchains on a conceptual and/or programming level.
    • Hands-on programming experience in a quantitative trading environment.
    • Deep understanding of the EVM and/or the technical underpinnings of other blockchain ecosystems.
    • Smart contract design and development.
    • Experience with cryptography libraries, digital signatures, and hash algorithms.
