Job Overview

IMC Zug is a leading global market maker using algorithmic trading and advanced technology to trade across multiple venues worldwide. Our team builds next-generation trading strategies and software using applied machine learning algorithms and toolsets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on developing our highly competitive trading algorithm and platform.
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art, industry-leading trade execution and connectivity solutions.
  • Research and analysis of DeFi protocols using on-chain data and trading strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with updates to DeFi protocols.
Requirements

**Must-Haves:**

  • Proficiency in applied mathematics, statistics, and numerical modeling.
  • Knowledge of cryptocurrency.
  • Proficiency in one or more blockchain-related programming languages such as Go, Rust, Solidity, etc.
  • Comfortable in a Linux R&D environment, including Git and related tools.
  • Ability to research independently.
  • Proficiency in English.

**Nice-to-Haves:**

  • Experience in blockchain analytics, DeFi protocols, and MEV.
  • In-depth knowledge of concrete blockchains on a conceptual and/or programming level.
  • Hands-on programming experience in a quantitative trading environment.
  • Deep understanding of the EVM and/or the technical underpinnings of other blockchain ecosystems.
  • Smart contract design and development.
  • Experience with cryptography libraries, digital signatures, and hash algorithms.
