We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our Global PR team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and executing creative and impactful PR strategies to increase awareness and visibility of our iconic brands.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement PR strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement in the EMEA region
- Manage PR agency of record for EMEA, working closely with them and other external partners to keep the team focused on priorities, producing results, and staying on budget
- Continually seek, recommend, and implement new and exciting external communication opportunities
- Provide ongoing marketing communications counsel to brand marketing teams
- Work collaboratively with team members to maximize ROI across sponsorships, influencers, vehicle owners, brand ambassadors, and others
- Keep a finger on the pulse of trends in relevant categories; clearly and confidently share thoughts and recommendations to optimize communications
- Serve as primary point-of-contact for inbound and outbound media activity in EMEA
- Oversee proactive PR-based earned media strategy for the EMEA region
- Be creative in developing concepts and pitches for media outreach
- Maintain an up-to-date media list and create new relationships with journalists
- Own reactive day-to-day press information and materials request fulfillment
- Write high-quality content, including press releases, product documents, and other materials
- Build PR toolkits to be adapted and leveraged in EMEA
- Facilitate interviews with spokespeople
- Participate in media event planning and execution, and support in always enhancing PR in-person activations
- Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, or related field
- 5 to 8 years of relevant public relations experience in the EMEA region
- Strong passion for powersports, watersports, and outdoor activities
- Excellent knowledge of the media landscape in France and Germany, and familiar with extended European media landscape
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in French and English (another language such as Spanish or German is a strong asset)
- Strong work ethic, hands-on approach, high attention to detail
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
