About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Specialist to join our Global PR team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing creative and impactful PR strategies to increase awareness and visibility of our iconic brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement highly effective consumer PR strategies in EMEA, leveraging a vault of available assets, including brand ambassadors, social influencers, sponsorships, and new product news.
  • Manage the PR agency of record for EMEA, working closely with them and other external partners to keep the team focused on priorities, producing results, and staying on budget.
  • Continually seek, recommend, and implement new and exciting external communication opportunities.
  • Provide ongoing marketing communications counsel to brand marketing teams.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maximize ROI across sponsorships, influencers, vehicle owners, brand ambassadors, and others.
  • Work collaboratively with regional communications teams across the globe.
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of trends in relevant categories; clearly and confidently share thoughts and recommendations to optimize communications.
  • Serve as primary point-of-contact for inbound and outbound media activity in EMEA.
  • Oversee proactive PR-based earned media strategy for the EMEA region.
  • Be creative in developing concepts and pitches for media outreach.
  • Maintain an up-to-date media list and create new relationships with journalists.
  • Own reactive day-to-day press information and materials request fulfillment.
  • Write high-quality content, including press materials, product documents, and more.
  • Build PR toolkits to be adapted and leveraged in EMEA.
  • Facilitate interviews with spokespeople.
  • Participate in media event planning and execution, and support in enhancing PR in-person activations.
  • Monitor and track EMEA external communications results.
  • Analyze results and present for trends and areas of opportunity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant public relations experience in the EMEA region.
  • Strong passion for powersports, watersports, and outdoor activities.
  • Excellent knowledge of the media landscape in France and Germany, and familiar with extended European media landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in French and English (another language such as Spanish or German is a strong asset).
  • Strong work ethic, hands-on approach, high attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
