Job Title: Project Manager Event Owner Esa Dach

At AO Foundation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager Event Owner to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for managing and owning assigned Educational Events in line with our Global Education Process and Educational Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Event Specialists and Course Chairs to ensure smooth event execution
  • Build and maintain relationships with Chairpersons and Faculty to support program development and event details
  • Identify and invite Faculty and Speakers in close collaboration with Course Chairs
  • Work closely with DPS DRIs on event technical support, education grants, and voucher purchases
  • Manage regional/local community campaigns, including congress presence and new member acquisition
  • Develop local networks by engaging with local Partners to understand local needs
  • Acquire new members and expand AO networks during events
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with local agencies/suppliers
  • Plan and manage annual event budgets within the country
  • Manage local AO governance, including country councils and governance meetings
Requirements:
  • University Master or Bachelor degree in a relevant field (e.g., hospitality, event management, public relations, communications, marketing)
  • Proven record of professional experience in project work or event management (3-5 years)
  • Experience in medical events/course organization is an advantage
  • Strong organizational, project, and event management skills
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Collaborative approach, with ability to work cross-functionally
  • Effective leadership skills, with consistent reliability and support
  • Fluent written and verbal English and German, with knowledge of other relevant languages an asset
