About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Security Sales Leader to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of security sales professionals in the Enterprise tier, driving business growth and revenue through the sale of Microsoft's security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of customers' industries and business priorities, discussing customer needs and solutions based on customer insights.
  • Lead the team to develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior leaders to grow Microsoft Security share of wallet, driving the security business end-to-end.
  • Act as a thought leader in digital transformation, leading the team to develop strategies that help understand customer business needs and accelerate revenue and growth for the Swiss security business.
  • Drive, lead and coach sales excellence strategic and major accounts in various industries, such as Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) and luxury & retail sector.
  • Provide consistent coaching rhythm, leveraging a coaching framework to support security sales professionals on End-to-End Security business to drive revenue.
  • Lead the team to increase customer relevance by driving adoption of the Microsoft Customer Engagement Methodology (MCEM).
  • Enhance cybersecurity, cyberrisk & sales capabilities across the organization to achieve excellence in customer interactions on CxO level.
  • Attract, develop and retain talent.
  • Deliver results through teamwork, driving execution of projects and value selling, driving a growth mindset and learning-focused culture by empowering team to focus on learning, partnering and collaborating with other teams.
Requirements
  • Extensive years of experience in technology-related sales or account management, or a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, and 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Cybersecurity Sales and Consulting background with focus on large enterprise customers.
  • Certain Industry knowhow, such as FSI/FSO and luxury & retail sector, preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise selling to senior business leaders, especially CISO, by aligning and reinforcing the value of cybersecurity solution to the customer's overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
  • Solid understanding of the Microsoft Security XDR, Data security and Microsoft Cloud Security offerings and complementing solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive years of experience in technology-related sales or account management, or a Bachelor's Degree in IT, or a related field, and extensive years of experience in technology-related sales or account management, or a Master's Degree in Business Administration, IT, or a related field, and solid years of experience in 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management.
  • Solid years of experience in solution or services sales.
  • Sales Management: Proven history of leading security sales team and driving business growth.
  • Leadership: Strong sales leadership skills to inspire and motivate team with an ability to set clear goals, provide guidance and lead by example.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with an ability to clearly articulate sales objectives, provide feedback and communicate with C-level stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking to identify market opportunities, develop sales strategies and make informed decisions.
  • A few years of experience in people management.
  • Problem solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges, overcome objections and find solutions to meet sales targets.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to help prioritize tasks and allocate resources efficiently ensuring sales goals are met.
  • Industry Experience: Strong understanding of security industry and market trends.
  • Technical passion with good understanding of multi-cloud security technologies - Threat protection (Endpoint security, E-mail security, Incident Response, etc.), Kill Chain, CNAPP, SIEM, Multi-Cloud Security (ACR business), Identity and Access management is a plus.
  • Experience with competitive Security solutions (e.g. Palo Alto, Splunk, CrowdStrike, etc.) is a plus.
