Technical Support Specialist for Digital Wealth Applications

About the Role:
Company 81 - Manulife Data Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our digital wealth applications support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support and maintenance for critical digital wealth applications across several markets in Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be working closely with internal/external customers, business partners, and project teams to ensure that new enhancements are successfully transitioned to support and that production issues are resolved within SLAs. This includes setting up and responding to alerts generated by monitoring tools, providing L2 analysis and troubleshooting support for business applications, investigating production issues using various tools, maintaining and supporting batch job failures, incident ownership and management, coordinating development efforts with the development team, and maintaining application support documentation.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with a strong background in customer service, analytical skills, and experience with relational database structures and methodologies. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any related course is required, along with minimum 3-5 years of working experience supporting systems at Level 2 (support). Excellent English communication (both written and oral) is also essential.
Preferred Skills:
Candidates with experience in financial industry, particularly wealth and asset management, ITIL practices, web app knowledge, MongoDB/SQL, Javascript or any programming language knowledge, React JS/Node JS, C#, VB Script (.NET/.NET Core), CA Workload Automation/job scheduling tools, ServiceNow/Jira/workflow tools, Observability and Monitoring: New Relic/Devo/others, will be considered as preferred candidates.
