About the Opportunity

Michael Page - Switzerland is seeking an experienced Financial Transformation Project Lead to support our client in Geneva. This role will be a full-time, on-site position.

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will oversee post-go-live activities and project management tasks with a focus on end-to-end order to cash processes.
  • This includes monitoring daily operations, anticipating, and resolving O2C (Order-to-Cash) issues.
  • They will also coordinate issue resolution and change requests based on priority, propose and implement finance process improvements, and ensure processes align with the Target Operating Model.
  • In addition, they will provide regular updates on stabilization progress using dashboards and collaborate with business units to address and resolve issues.

Project Management Support:

  • The candidate will identify stakeholders and manage communications during all project phases (build, test, training, go-live).
  • They will organize and coordinate training sessions, including material review and execution tracking.
  • Furthermore, they will define and validate test cases to ensure quality and error-free solutions.
  • The candidate will also oversee testing processes, including Functional Integration Tests and User Acceptance Tests, and document issues.

Finance Process Design & Alignment:

  • The successful candidate will design and align finance processes to match real-world practices and requirements.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • They will maintain project documentation (plans, dashboards, procedures) and shared libraries.
  • In addition, they will support periodic alignment and governance meetings, as well as support users post-go-live with issue tracking, metrics, and system usage.

The Successful Candidate:

  • We are looking for a candidate with 6 to 8 years of process design and project management experience.
  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in management, economics, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent business analysis capabilities, good understanding of accounting processes, and strong IT abilities are necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should have experience with SAP S/4 HANA and knowledge of Atlassian JIRA and X-RAY add-on is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management processes, methodologies, and best practices is essential.
