Job Purpose

The Head of Organisational Effectiveness & HR Digital Transformation will play a key role in driving strategic initiatives related to organisational efficiency and digital transformation at MSC Cruises. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders to implement innovative solutions that enhance employee experience, streamline processes, and drive business performance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with the Global HR Team and business leaders to design and implement improved operating models and organisational structures.
  • Lead the HR transformation process ensuring an effective operational model to serve multiple business units.
  • Drive the Digital Innovation of HR processes, including the scouting and implementation of a global HRIS.
  • Implement KPIs and best practices for Organisational Effectiveness.
  • Build a data-driven decision-making and business analytics culture, helping the business to find the right indicators to support strategic directions.
  • Work with business and functional leaders to assess business/function specific organisation design projects and processes to enhance both capabilities and effectiveness.
  • Lead and support organisational development and design projects that improve people processes, structures, measures, and accountabilities.
  • Ensure quality execution through a hands-on approach to the design and delivery of organisational projects.
  • Ensure global HR policies are up-to-date and in line with processes.
  • Maintain the consistency and integrity of the Job Roles within the business through effective systems and processes for Job Analysis, Job Descriptions & Evaluation, Organisational Structural Design and organisational change.
  • Lead the development and execution of HR technology and transformation strategies.

Qualifications (Skills, Competencies, Experience)

  • BA/MA Human Resources or equivalent knowledge gained throughout the career.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic HR organisational roles, with a focus on organisational design, change management, and talent analytics.
  • Proven track record of leading complex organisational change initiatives and transformation projects in a global context.
  • Previous experience in implementing at least one major HRIS platform (e.g. Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, ServiceNow).
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and experience navigating legal complexities.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organisation.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in fast-moving and multicultural environments.
  • Fluent in English.
  • EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
