Job Description

Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme is seeking an experienced Electric Vehicle Development Manager to lead our electric racing initiatives. This is a full-time position based in our headquarters.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in electrical and electronic engineering, specifically in the field of electric vehicles and motorsports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development, project management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical rules and regulations for electric racing competitions
  • Work closely with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure compliance with FIM standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with experts from the CTI and other sporting commissions to develop and roll out Technical Rules books for new FIM competitions
  • Review and update existing Technical Rules books for existing FIM competitions based on feedback from stakeholders
  • Support and work with sporting disciplines to ensure compliance with Homologation requirements
  • Create and deliver training content for technical seminars and workshops
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and developments in the relevant fields
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a motorcycling/automotive related industry, preferably in R&D
  • Proven experience in Project Management and Project Leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English and French (FIM official languages), with Italian and/or Spanish being an asset
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
