International Legal Compliance Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced individual to serve as International Legal Compliance Specialist, located at our international headquarters in Zug, Switzerland. This role will manage our international legal and compliance operational tasks, affiliates, and will be an integral part of our Legal and Compliance International Team, to advance business activities and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage compliance and contract management system processes, law firm budget management, corporate housekeeping, legal and compliance training management, and legal project management.
- Support and retain effective corporate housekeeping for our international affiliates (ex-US).
- Provide support to effective and timely compliance and legal trainings management and roll-out.
- Collaborate with the Legal and Compliance Team across the organization and business partners.
- Identify areas for process optimization and potential use of new technologies.
- Serve as legal and compliance project manager.
- Support the management of foreign legal counsel and budget management.
- Support Legal and Compliance International internal event organization and travel and expense management as needed.
- 5+ years of work experience handling legal and compliance operations matters in an in-house role and/or life science service company.
- Proficiency in English and one other European language is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience with corporate housekeeping support in Europe.
- Strong technical/analytical skills.
- A practical, business-oriented approach to identifying and solving business problems with the ability to act with urgency and passion.
- Willingness to pitch-in and help on legal projects across the organization.
- Excellent communications skills and a positive client service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to value the benefits of collaboration.
- Ability to balance compliance with the competing demands of the business.
- Accountability, sound judgment, and the ability to take ownership of an issue and provide concise and timely solutions.
- Integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- This role may require travel to our affiliates and/or US headquarters.
