About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled Safety and Environmental Professional to join our team at dsm-firmenich. This position will play a key role in supporting our site Senior SHE Manager to deliver site and group SHE ambitions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform audit of process safety management systems & recommend risk mitigation corrective actions.
- Carry out machine/process/equipment risk analyses and support for pre-start-up safety reviews.
- Update risk assessments at workplace and design SHE procedures.
- Support teams in implementing Life Saving Rules and the deployment of our standards.
Requirements:
- A Master's/Technician's degree in health, safety & environment / industrial process.
- Safety Engineer CFST diploma / SUVA certification.
- Knowledge of risk analysis methodologies such as FMEA and HAZOP.
- Knowledge of chemical hazards.
- 3-5 years of experience in the industrial and chemical sectors and associated risks.
- High proficiency with standard office programs such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Fluent in French and English.
