Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct risk assessments for CERN activities in experimental areas, laboratories, and workshops.
- Perform general safety inspections and coordinate technical inspections with domain experts.
- Prepare essential safety documentation and maintain safety files on the CERN database.
- Participate in safety-related meetings and collaborate with other safety officers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, you must have a strong understanding of health and safety principles and methodologies. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. A valid driving license is also required.
