Job Description

Introduction

Le Grand Bellevue, a renowned luxury hotel in Gstaad, seeks a highly skilled Sales Coordinator to join its team. As a key member of the Sales and Marketing department, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and occupancy through effective sales strategies and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate groups from the initial inquiry stage to final invoice, collaborating with various hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Support the development of the Sales and Marketing seasonal strategy plan by analyzing key data and figures from the Property Management System (PMS) Opera.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team on various projects to generate leads, manage inquiries, and convert potential guests into confirmed bookings.
  • Handle all Sales-related activities while the Head of Sales is away on business trips or annual leave.
  • Build strong relationships with discerning clientele, understanding their needs and preferences to create tailored experiences that exceed their expectations.
  • Immerse yourself in the Le Grand Bellevue experience, becoming an expert on the property's amenities, services, and unique offerings to present them persuasively to potential guests.

Requirements

  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and dynamic mindset.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, with a team player attitude and good time management skills.
  • A previous experience in luxury hospitality and/or sales, with a degree in business administration, tourism, or hotel industry.
  • A fluent command of English, with French and/or German highly appreciated.
