Job Summary

Le Grand Bellevue is seeking a highly skilled Reservation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for handling professional telephone and written reservations, processing all reservation requests efficiently, and actively selling rooms and vouchers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle professional telephone and written reservations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of guest requests.
  • Process all reservation requests efficiently, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve guest inquiries.
  • Actively sell rooms and vouchers, utilizing knowledge of hotel amenities and services to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Create tailored offers for guests, taking into account their preferences and needs.
  • Maintain and update the guest database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Provide guest service in three languages (German, French, English) and manage related correspondence.
  • Manage all reservation requests and bookings for groups post-contract, collaborating with sales and events teams.
  • Deliver professional customer service in compliance with LQA standards, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Implement strategies to enhance guest retention and drive repeat bookings through targeted marketing campaigns and exceptional service.
  • Conduct monthly commission checks for all OTAs and travel agencies.
  • Set rate codes for voucher sales and control pricing for group reservations.
  • Ensure timely processing of reservations, cancellations, and payments, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Maintain and oversee data accuracy in reservation systems, ensuring seamless operations.

Revenue Management

  • Maximize revenue through effective pricing, inventory control, and strategies to boost occupancy.
  • Develop and implement flexible, competitive pricing strategies based on market analysis.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, monitor performance indicators, and make informed revenue optimization decisions.
  • Collaborate with management to create the rooms revenue budget.
  • Continuously implement daily pricing, revenue, and yield management, actively up-selling and cross-selling.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least two years of professional experience in the upscale hotel industry, ideally in the reservation area.
  • Good oral and written language skills (German, French, English).
  • Good computer and MS Office skills.
  • Ideally Opera knowledge (Opera Cloud).
  • Guest-oriented, professional work, and sales talent.
