Organon is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Global Pharmacovigilance and Safety Science team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our global safety strategy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving business growth through effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global safety strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize risk to patients and the organization.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure effective risk management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
- Provide scientific expertise to support business growth and development.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
- Manage and develop a team of safety professionals to ensure effective execution of safety strategies.
Requirements
- Medical degree with experience in clinical research, pharmacology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on pharmacovigilance and safety science.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective safety strategies and protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Board certification in a related field.
- Experience working in a global pharmaceutical company.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to pharmacovigilance and safety science.
