Executive Director, Medicinal Product Safety Lead

The Executive Director, Drug Safety role is a key position within the Organon organization, responsible for leading the development and implementation of safety strategies and procedures for medicinal products.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement safety strategies and procedures for medicinal products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with ICH/FDA/EMA guidelines and regulations, monitoring and demonstrating compliance in audits.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of safety professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of safety strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Regulatory, Clinical, and Medical Affairs, to ensure alignment and effective communication of safety information.
- Scientific Expertise: Provide scientific expertise and guidance on pharmacovigilance and clinical trial legislations, ensuring accurate and compliant safety reporting.
- Education: Medical degree, ideally with clinical experience in a relevant field.
- Experience: 10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, with 5-10+ years in drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
- Skills: Strong scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Board Certification: Preferred but not required.
