Senior Financial Accountant

We are Planted Foods, a pioneering company in the plant-based meat category, and we're looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team.
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in driving our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our financial strategies and processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the monthly closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of financial reports.
- Take ownership of complex accounting areas, such as accruals, provisions, and intangible assets.
- Collaborate with the business to analyze revenue and costs, providing guidance on financial completeness and accruals.
- Apply your financial reporting and accounting expertise on a wide range of topics, from sales to fixed assets.
- Support and guide the accounting team, ensuring they execute tasks effectively and efficiently.
Your Ideal Profile:
- At least 4 years of experience in financial accounting, controlling, or financial audit.
- Chartered Accountant certification (such as a Swiss federal diploma, CPA, or ACCA) or a Bachelor's/Master's degree with a focus on finance, accounting, and/or controlling.
- Proven can-do attitude, with a relentless curiosity and ability to dive deep into complex problems.
- Fluent in English, with full proficiency in Italian, especially in accounting matters, a valuable asset.
