Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Officer to join our Institutional Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of risk and compliance across our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess client account opening requests from an AML/CTF standpoint, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Compliance Service to prepare and submit recommendations to the Head of Sales and Compliance Departments.
- Conduct pre-checks on tax compliance aspects, including FATCA and CRS, to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Participate in reviews of all types of partnerships, including introducing brokers, asset managers, and money managers.
- Provide support and guidance to the front-line team on risk and compliance matters.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Law or Business.
- Proven experience in a Compliance Department within the financial industry.
- Strong analytical and methodological approach.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Fluency in English and French.
