Network Infrastructure Specialist

We offer a competitive salary of CHF 120,000 - 150,000 per annum.

The PositionThis role involves managing network planning, delivery, and operations for FIFA offices, tournaments, and events. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing network infrastructure design, ensuring all aspects of network deliverables are implemented according to FIFA requirements, and overseeing the effective provision of network services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in the sports or major event industry. A university degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is required, along with strong IT skills and relevant knowledge in Telecom Service Providers networks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage network planning, delivery, and operations for FIFA offices, tournaments, and events.
- Review network infrastructure design and ensure all aspects of network deliverables are implemented according to FIFA requirements.
- Oversee the effective provision of network services for FIFA offices, tournaments, and events.
- Actively participate in scope definition, procurement liaison, supplier selection, and onboarding of Telco and Network suppliers.
- Liaise and/or support with Network projects in clarifying requirements, adhering to robust change management protocol.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in network engineering.
- Experience in the sports or major event industry is highly recommended.
- University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Strong IT skills and relevant knowledge in Telecom Service Providers networks.
- Technology certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or equivalent experience.
