Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for OSI PI System Implementations to join our innovative team. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end project deliverables, including managing technical workshops, project planning, and assigning tasks to team members. You will also be responsible for configuring, validating, and tuning PI Servers and interfaces, as well as tailoring client software.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of OSI PI system architecture with 5+ years of experience in PI System implementations.
- Configure, validate, and tune PI Servers and interfaces.
- Tailor client software, including PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, and RtReports.
- Experience with PI Event Frames and PI Batch setup and configuration is a plus.
- Good technical knowledge of OPC network protocols and other industrial communication network protocols.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS, networking, and system security fundamentals is nice to have.
Requirements
- Engineering graduate (Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with OSI PI software system implementation and maintenance, in the Life sciences industry is preferred.
- OSIsoft trained and certified (preferred).
- Experience working in GMP regulated environment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team leader and help with team tasks assignment.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
- Self-motivated.
- Passion for quality and excellence.
- Enjoys customer interaction.
- Fluency in English is required, German would be an asset.
