R&D and Technology Assistant

Rieter is a leading supplier of systems for manufacturing yarn from staple fibers in spinning mills. As a key player in the textile industry, we are seeking an experienced Assistant to support our Head R&D and Technology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the R&D Head, including calendar management, expense tracking, and meeting organization.
- Arrange travel plans and agendas, and provide support in case of changes.
- Assist with presentations, reports, and internal communications, ensuring presentation standards and timelines are met.
- Support the Management Team as needed, including management meetings and visits.
- Act as a focal point of contact for other departments and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the global executive assistants' team to ensure successful execution of the group calendar, meetings, events, and projects.
- Plan, lead, and manage projects and events of varying magnitude.
- Handle confidential information professionally.
- Commercial apprenticeship or bachelor's degree in business administration.
- Previous direct executive support of at least 5 years in a multinational company in a similar role.
- Experience in other commercial or administrative functions at a senior level is an advantage.
- Proficient in communication and office technologies, particularly MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, and MS Teams.
- Ability to navigate an international corporate environment.
- Experienced with calendar management and travel scheduling and booking.
- Ability to write minutes and corresponding to-do lists.
- Ability to recognize where processes can be improved and take the initiative to improve them.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels and departments within the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and German.
- Experience leading small to medium-sized projects and events.
