Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated R&D Intern to join our Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) team within the growing Chemtech division. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in (Bio)Chemistry, Chemical / Process / Biochemical Engineering, or Material science, and laboratory experience conducting inorganic chemistry experiments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Testing: Conduct laboratory-scale experiments by performing reaction, separation, and analysis tests. Support and contribute to pilot-scale testing efforts to ensure real-world applicability of findings.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Process and analyze collected data to assist in refining methods and approaches, playing a crucial role in optimizing our CCUS processes.
  • Discovery and Research: Contribute to the identification and development of groundbreaking technical solutions in CCUS. Engage in literature research, perform experimental measurements, and structure data to uncover new possibilities.
  • Reporting: Organize findings and present them clearly in reports and internal meetings, ensuring contributions drive actionable insights and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A Master or PhD degree in (Bio)Chemistry, Chemical / Process / Biochemical Engineering, or Material science.
  • Laboratory experience conducting inorganic chemistry experiments.
  • Knowledge of separation technologies and relevant analytics; exposure to particle technology is a plus.
  • Skilled in MS Office 365 applications.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
