Assistant Head R&D and Technology

Rieter, a leading supplier of systems for manufacturing yarn from staple fibers, is seeking an experienced Assistant to support its Head R&D and Technology. This is a permanent assignment with a high level of autonomy.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Head R&D and Technology, including calendar management, expense tracking, and meeting organization.
  • Arrange travel plans and agendas, and provide support in case of changes.
  • Assist with presentations, reports, and internal communications, ensuring presentation standards and timelines are met.
  • Support the Management Team in various tasks, including management meetings and visits.
  • Act as a focal point of contact for other departments and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the global executive assistants' team to ensure successful execution of the group calendar, meetings, events, and projects.
  • Plan, lead, and manage projects and events of different magnitude.
  • Handle confidential information professionally.
Your Ideal Profile
  • Commercial apprenticeship or bachelor's degree in business administration.
  • Previous direct executive support of at least 5 years in a multinational company in a similar role.
  • Experience in other commercial or administrative functions at a senior level is an advantage.
  • Proficient in communication and office technologies, particularly MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, and MS Teams.
  • Ability to navigate an international corporate environment.
  • Experienced with calendar management and travel scheduling and booking.
  • Ability to write minutes and corresponding to-do lists.
  • Ability to recognize where processes can be improved and take the initiative to improve them.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels and departments within the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written language skills in English and German.
  • Experience leading small to medium-sized projects and events.
