About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Actuary to lead our non-life insurance actuarial audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading actuarial audits under various regulatory frameworks, including IFRS, US GAAP, and Solvency II.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead actuarial audits, including the audit of technical reserves, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support clients in implementing regulatory requirements, such as Swiss Solvency Test, ORSA, and Responsible Actuary tasks.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex actuarial problems for insurance and reinsurance clients.
  • Assist clients in finance transformation programs, focusing on actuarial, accounting, and finance relationships.
  • Contribute to automation and innovation projects, leveraging data science tools and programming skills.
  • Support the development of junior actuarial team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify business opportunities through internal and external relationship building.
Requirements
  • University degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Fully qualified actuary (SAV, FIA, CAS, or equivalent) or nearing completion of actuarial education.
  • Minimum 4-10 years of experience as a non-life actuary in a consulting environment and/or insurance industry.
  • Programming and data science skills are a plus.
  • Fluent German and English language skills, with additional languages a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, independent, and outgoing personality with a focus on collaboration.
  • External audit experience is a strong asset.
