Senior Auditor/Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team at Approach People Recruitment. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex audit engagements for a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute complex audit engagements for a range of clients, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Identify and assess areas of significant business risk, providing insightful recommendations for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Supervise and mentor junior auditors, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve audit processes and outcomes.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably within a Big 4 firm or a leading audit firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and Swiss accounting standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
