Derivatives Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Derivatives Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Hochstrasser Personal.
As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for enabling the correct and prompt import of derivative deals into the trading system. You will ensure timely confirmation of derivative transactions with internal and external counterparties, perform derivative settlements, and create and manage invoices.
You will also act as an interface function to back offices of counterparties, coordinate efficient flow of information between other Group stakeholders, and handle daily regulatory reporting according to relevant financial market regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Enable the correct and prompt import of derivative deals into the trading system
- Ensure timely confirmation of derivative transactions with internal and external counterparties
- Perform derivative settlements and offsetting of future transactions
- Create and manage invoices
- Act as interface function to back offices of counterparties (operative level)
- Coordinate efficient flow of information between other Group stakeholders
- Handle daily regulatory reporting according to relevant financial market regulations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields such as business administration, finance/accounting, or commodity trading
- At least 2 years' work experience in Derivatives Operations/Controlling functions of a trading or banking company
- Advanced knowledge about derivatives evaluation and accounting (e.g., IFRS 7 & 9), procurement business processes, and hedging operations
- Strong analytical thinking and interdisciplinary problem-solving skills
- Fluent English in written and spoken; knowledge of German language is a plus
The salary for this position is estimated to be around €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
