Business Continuity Coordinator

About the Role
As an IT Business Continuity Manager at Company 81 - Manulife Data Services Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations in the event of a disruption. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans that align with our company's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans that identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular business impact analyses to identify critical business processes and develop recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business continuity initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
- Provide training and awareness programs to ensure that employees understand their roles and responsibilities in business continuity.
- Conduct regular testing and exercises to ensure that business continuity plans are effective.
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of business continuity plans.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to business continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least two to three years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business continuity management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience with business continuity software and tools is an asset.
