Business Continuity Manager

Avaloq is seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Manager to join our global team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our Business Continuity Management (BCM) team, you will be responsible for executing and maintaining our certified ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management System in a highly complex environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain a BCMS that meets Avaloq's group-wide BCM and ISO 22301 requirements
  • Develop and implement business continuity processes and procedures
  • Support and coordinate planning across clients and critical suppliers or vendors
  • Provide business continuity documents and templates
  • Collaborate with relevant disciplines to address risks
  • Support and advise regarding appropriate business continuity solutions
  • Validate Business Continuity Plans
  • Monitor the progress of business continuity planning
  • Establish, maintain, and improve BCPs and test plans annually
  • Establish performance metrics and provide regular updates to the Head of BCM
  • Provide quarterly BCM reports to clients and the BCM team
  • Participate in the emergency and crisis team
  • Support IT-Service Continuity Management
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience managing, developing, and executing business continuity management
  • Developed cross-functional engagement to get results within the Business Continuity program
  • Demonstrate an ability to translate strategic business priorities to program goals
  • Ability to simplify complex reporting concepts and requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate program goals, values, obstacles, and priorities across the business
  • Ability to work in a team with strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in emergency and crisis management
  • Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BCM certified
  • Emergency and crisis management certified
  • IT SCM skills
  • Experience in dealing with regulation in the field of banking services
