About the Role
As a Business Continuity Manager at Company 81 - Manulife Data Services Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations in the event of an emergency or disaster. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain business continuity plans that minimize disruptions to our services and ensure the safety of our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain business continuity plans that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to our business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that business continuity plans are integrated into our overall risk management strategy.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and partners, to ensure that our business continuity plans are aligned with their requirements.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of our business continuity plans and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business continuity and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least two to three years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Experience with risk management and compliance frameworks.
