Job Description
Your Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Technician at CERN, you will be responsible for designing and constructing special mechanical devices related to the HPRF stations for the HL-LHC Crab project. Your expertise in mechanical engineering will be essential in creating innovative solutions that meet the project's requirements.
Your Profile
Key skills and knowledge required for this role include:
- Conception of mechanical objects
- Use of CAD (Catia, Ansys, etc.)
- Machining
- Metrology
- Installation and tests of equipment
- Fluency in English, with the ability to work in French as an advantage
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must:
- Be a national of a country
- Have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Mechanical engineering (or a related field)
- Hold a general secondary education diploma
- Not have had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- Not have a Bachelor, Master, or PhD degree
Additional Information
This position involves working with a team of experts to design and construct complex mechanical devices. A valid driving license is required.
