**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Pro Informatik AG. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data infrastructure for our Trading Analytics platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Data Infrastructure: Design and implement data infrastructure for Trading Analytics, including databases and data lakes.
  • Machine Learning and Financial Modeling: Develop machine learning and financial models for trading execution, market making, and sales.
  • Data Quality and Analysis: Ensure data quality by mining, cleansing, and analyzing large datasets for use-case development.
  • Software Development: Write code and algorithms, mainly in Python and Scala, to create software applications, user interfaces, APIs, dashboards, and automated reports for business users.
  • Big Data Solutions: Assist with the execution of Big Data solutions and related technologies.
  • Results Presentation: Present results from AI and financial models to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with data architects, developers, and business developers to jointly meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Experience: Several years of experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Knowledge: Proven knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence, good knowledge of mathematical finance and financial markets, knowledge of data architecture, databases, and data lakes.
  • Coding Skills: Advanced coding skills in Python, R, Matlab, knowledge of C++, Haskell, Scala, and/or Java.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Nice to Have: Knowledge of Spark, Databricks, Kafka, and real-time analytics, knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, and VBA, knowledge of webapp development, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Dash (or similar), knowledge of cloud computing (MS Azure or Snowflake).
