Global Admixtures Development Manager

Job Overview

CEMEX is seeking a highly skilled Global Admixtures Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring global operative coordination and supporting the applied product development, guaranteeing know-how and technology transfer globally.

Main Responsibilities

  • Functionally coordinate local lab functions
  • Coordinate the planning of local laboratory activities and development plans for local laboratories
  • Define procedures and guarantee the flow of information between central and local operations
  • Train local lab personnel through the planning of training activities and monitoring of local skills development
  • Carry out regular audits of local labs and assist local lab Managers in defining actions to achieve performance objectives
  • Collaborate with G-RD in product design development activities, ensuring know-how and technology transfer
  • Provide support for the purchase of equipment or accessories and maintenance of quality procedures
  • Keep frequent contact with local labs to resolve issues

Position Challenges

  • People and local lab development without direct hierarchical reporting
  • New role in the company, requiring time to be accepted

Qualifications

  • Advanced English language skills
  • Preferred Spanish language skills
  • Chemistry or similar academic background (master's degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in product development and admixtures industrial expertise
  • Technical skills: analytical and planning skills, project management skills, creativity, and advanced MS Office tools knowledge
  • Soft skills: integrity, commitment, maturity, flexibility, and people management

  • Company management, R&D, Regional Operations, and labs
  • Global Sourcing, Product Managers, Consultants, and providers
