Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Senior Engineer specializing in sustainability to become a vital part of our sustainability division. This role will concentrate on aiding our Research & Development (R&D) Innovation and Business Unit Services and Performance teams, with a significant focus on sustainability projects and product advancements. The ideal candidate will champion the sustainability mission, improve energy efficiency for our clientele, and spearhead unique projects aimed at reducing our ecological footprint.

Main Responsibilities:Support R&D Innovation:
  • Engage with Product Line (PL) R&D teams to collect and incorporate sustainability insights for new initiatives and innovations aligned with the Product Line strategy.
  • Organize and present sustainability-related activities and progress reports.
R&D Retrofit and Upgrade (BUSP):
  • Encourage and facilitate sustainability upgrade and retrofit strategies in partnership with BUSP and R&D teams.
  • Devise solutions tailored to installed bases and specific customer needs.
  • Assist clients with projects centered on energy efficiency and conservation.
  • Generate innovative concepts to enhance operator efficiency through improved Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and user interactions.
  • Perform carbon accounting for CM services.
  • Lead and participate in various special projects as necessary.
Professional Experience Required:
  • Over 10 years of experience in multinational Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering firms with a complex organizational structure.
  • At least 2 years in a role focused on developing Sustainability programs and initiatives for an Industrial/Manufacturing/Engineering company on a global scale.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering, particularly in R&D and innovation.
  • Strong commitment to sustainability and its potential as a business differentiator.
  • Knowledge in energy efficiency, carbon accounting, and sustainability strategies is advantageous.
  • Business-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Outstanding communication and reporting skills.
  • Dedication to advancing sustainability initiatives and enhancing environmental impact.
Education and Language Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Economics.
  • Completion of business-oriented training or formal education related to Sustainability management.
  • Fluency in English.
