About the RoleThe Engineering team designs, builds and delivers systems that fuel fast charging of electric vehicles, energy services and AI that will monitor and drive energy optimization, helping our customers reduce their operating expenses. We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on delivering the highest quality service experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- You will work to design, build and lead the team to improve the reliability and performance of software systems that provide access to services and infrastructure to enable optimization of site performance by delivering the best value from their assets.
- As a Site Reliability Engineering manager, you will be leading a team responsible for providing the platform for mission-critical services to maintain constant uptime, scale seamlessly, and allow for new applications and services to thrive.
- Minimum 5+ years of handling grid services (Behind the meter or Front of the meter), renewable energy, or large power systems through digital platforms.
- Experience with Cloud Computing technologies.
- Experience and confidence around incident response and incident management.
- Practical experience in Python, Linux and Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Services.
- A strong desire to automate manual operations and to improve them through repeated iteration.
- A sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.
- 3+ years professional experience in an engineering leadership position.
- Comfortable with Open Source configuration management and orchestration.
- Able to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build, grow, and mentor a team to meet both their career goals and the organization's goals.
- Experience with hiring and leading engineers.
