Job Description

This leadership position reports directly to the ACIM Regional Managing Director for EMEA. The General Manager will lead the agreed strategic and operational plans for the Captive and Insurance Management operations in domicile.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering on agreed financial and operational targets, maintaining a compliance culture within the local office and managing the day-to-day relationship with key clients.

This role requires excellent technical competence across various activities including Finance, Insurance, Compliance, Risk Consulting and Team leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Competence: Strong knowledge of the (re)insurance industry and risk finance in particular.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively communicate and adjust messages accordingly to various audiences.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and networks across various functions and locations to meet shared objectives, exchange ideas and enhance knowledge.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to foster and maintain strong relationships and networks across various functions and geographies.
