Job Overview

We are seeking a visionary Retail Design Project Leader to spearhead the global design and development of our retail environments.

This key role will be responsible for defining and executing the design strategy for our spaces, ensuring each location reflects our brand's heritage, values, and aesthetic while optimizing customer experience and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic thinker with a deep understanding of branding, excellent project management skills, and the ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and customer-centric solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the store design strategy: Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and global standards, integrating innovative design trends and sustainability practices.
  • Oversee concept designs and layout plans: Create schematic design packages for new stores, remodels, and renovations, maintaining the highest standards of design and execution.
  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors: Collaborate to create cohesive, functional, and visually compelling retail environments.
  • Manage multiple store design projects: Ensure on-time and within-budget delivery while maintaining high design standards.
  • Develop and maintain design playbooks and guidelines: Ensure design consistency across all regions and markets.
Requirements
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field: 7+ years of experience in retail store design, space planning, and project management.
  • Proven expertise: Designing and executing retail design projects on a global scale, with a strong design portfolio showcasing expertise in retail environments.
  • Skills and qualifications: Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Smartsheet or similar tools; experience working with sustainability principles and implementing environmentally responsible design solutions.
Compensation

We offer an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $180,000, commensurate with experience, based on the Swatch Group's competitive compensation package.
