JobUp is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer Specialist to join our IT Automation team. This role requires a deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, automation platforms, cloud technologies and operational paradigms.

About the Role

In this position, you will evaluate and implement scalable and secure automation frameworks and solutions to meet organizational needs. You will help build the Self-Service IT, where stakeholders interface with AWS-like cloud consoles and leverage hybrid cloud services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to work on automating tasks, integrating solutions with existing IT systems and applications, and leading the implementation of automation projects. As a DevOps Engineer Specialist at JobUp, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation for automation processes, configurations, and procedures.

We are looking for someone who can monitor the performance of automated systems, identify areas for improvement and optimization, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements in all automation activities.

About the Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field involving programming, or equivalent experience. You should also have over 3 years of experience with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Actions, ActiveBatch, etc.

A systematic approach to problem-solving, strong communication skills, and a sense of ownership and drive are essential for this position. Additionally, proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, Rust, .Net, C, C++, Perl, Ruby, or Go is required.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge about SLOs, KPIs and error budgeting definitions and implementations. Experience working with Kubernetes and the ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the IT technology space are also preferred.
