About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Product Manager to join our team at Stadler. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing standard service solutions with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement standard service solutions, especially modernizations and digital solutions, with customers, suppliers, engineering, purchasing, sales, and management.
  • Manage a significant budget, strategically allocating resources to maximize return on investment and ensure effective reporting and financial accountability.
  • Continuously analyze the market, customer needs, and competition with the sales team and implement customer needs in innovative products.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration to ensure that product strategies are cohesive and aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Stay at the forefront of railway industry trends and innovations, adapting strategies to maintain competitiveness and brand leadership.
  • Represent Stadler as an ambassador in regular contact with customers and actively maintain this relationship.
  • Evaluate and define the international product strategy together with top management and the sales team.
  • Train the Stadler organization in new service products and implement standard materials like product descriptions, offer templates, etc.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in transport systems, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or economics.
  • Professional experience in industry, ideally in sales, product management, and/or service.
  • Experience/further training in product management.
  • Experience in railway is seen as a big plus.
  • Open and communicative.
  • Good knowledge of German and English, other languages are an advantage.
  • Independent working style, analytical ability, and willingness to make a move forward.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe (20%).
