We are seeking an expert Thai masseur/masseuse to join our team of dedicated professionals. As an integral part of our team, you will be tasked with delivering top-level authentic Thai therapeutic massages to our clients, adhering to the quality standards that our salons are renowned for.
ResponsibilitiesYour primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing Authentic Thai Massage Treatments: You will be expected to deliver exceptional, high-quality Thai massages using traditional techniques to relieve stress, improve circulation, increase flexibility, and promote general relaxation.
- Assessing Client Needs: Before each session, you will need to assess the specific needs of each client in order to propose a personalized treatment. This may involve discussing health issues, identifying areas of tension, and recommending appropriate massage techniques.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: The safety and well-being of our clients are our top priority. Therefore, you will be responsible for maintaining an impeccably clean and safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement of Services and Client Experience: As a member of our team, you will work closely with your colleagues to continuously improve our services. This includes participating in training, learning new massage techniques, and contributing to the enhancement of the overall client experience.
- Promoting Health and Wellness: As part of your role, you will also be tasked with educating our clients about the benefits of Thai massage for health and wellness. This may involve advising on stretches to practice at home, the importance of relaxation and stress management, and other health and wellness-related aspects.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- European Nationality or EFTA Membership: Due to work permit restrictions, the candidate must be a citizen of a European Union country or a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which includes Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
- Education and Experience: A degree in Thai therapeutic massage from a recognized institution or at least 5 years of professional experience in giving authentic Thai massage is required. Experience in a high-end spa or salon environment is highly valued.
- Language Skills and Integration: An acceptable level in French or English is required for this position. However, we understand that language skills can always be improved, and we are happy to offer language training to enhance your proficiency.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: As a key representative of our brand, you must be able to communicate effectively, create a welcoming and relaxing environment, and manage client expectations with professionalism.
