Salary: CHF 80,000 - 100,000 per year

This role offers an attractive salary package, reflecting the competitive market rate for a sales professional with your skills and experience in Geneva. Your remuneration will include a comprehensive base salary, plus performance-related bonuses.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Local Account Manager to join our sales team in Geneva. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:

  • Cultivating existing client relationships while identifying and acquiring new business opportunities;
  • Developing and executing targeted sales strategies, including outbound calls and on-site promotions;
  • Representing IntercityHotel at local events, conferences, and trade shows, fostering strong connections with key stakeholders and decision-makers;
  • Participating in sales analysis, market research, and forecasting to drive business growth;

Your primary focus will be on securing group and event contracts, as well as establishing strategic partnerships with major clients. This demanding yet rewarding role requires exceptional negotiation skills, outstanding communication abilities, and a keen understanding of the hotel industry's challenges and needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A completed vocational training in hospitality or a related field, complemented by relevant professional experience in B2B sales;
  • In-depth knowledge of the Swiss hotel market, particularly in the business travel sector;
  • Strong customer-centric approach, combined with high initiative and creative problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in German and English, with additional language skills an asset;
