Job Title: Senior Assessment Officer - Displacement Solutions Expert
We are seeking an experienced Senior Assessment Officer to join our team in Yemen. As a key member of our Displacement and Durable Solutions team, you will be responsible for supporting research cycles, data collection, and analysis in displacement and durable solutions contexts.
Key Responsibilities
- Research Planning: Develop comprehensive research designs, including methodologies, tools, and ToRs in line with IMPACT's requirements and principles.
- Research Implementation: Support the implementation of data collection exercises, including tool design, coordination, data cleaning, and analysis.
- Drafting of Research Products: Produce timely, accurate, and impactful outputs, such as reports, briefs, and presentations, consolidating analyses from each research cycle.
- External Engagement: Represent REACH in meetings, participate in methodological discussions, and collaborate with partners in data collection.
- Team Management & Capacity Building: Line manage national staff, provide training and resources, and ensure comprehension of assessment objectives and implementation strategies.
Requirements
- Essential: Academic qualifications in international studies, development, humanitarian response, or a related field, research and analytical skills, 2-3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian and/or research settings, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and fluency in English.
- Desired: Familiarity with aid systems, thematic expertise in CCCM/Displacement/Refugee & Migrant programs, management skills, knowledge of R or statistical analysis software, and proficiency in Arabic.
Conditions and Benefits
Salary between CHF 2,580 and CHF 2,640 per month, accommodation and food provided in a guesthouse, health insurance, and other benefits.
