Job Description

We are currently searching for a Store Development Project Leader to reinforce our retail international team at Swatch Headquarters in Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing retail design concepts for Swatch POSs within our corporate identity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement retail design concepts for Swatch POSs within our corporate identity.
  • Manage all aspects of the store design process from design inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work independently and efficiently to monitor projects and ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Manage effective budgets for all stores and control project costs and capital expenditure.
  • Collaborate closely with external parties, including contractors, consultants, clients, and suppliers, as well as internal departments such as Finance, Marketing, Sales, Retail Operations, and Logistics.
  • Supervise external architects, consultants, engineers, and suppliers.
  • Communicate effectively with direct managers and stakeholders.
  • Resolve and/or escalate challenges in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that project documents are complete, up-to-date, and stored appropriately.

Requirements

  • University degree in Architecture/Interior Design and a minimum of 5 years of retail experience or in related fields or in Project Management.
  • Computer skills: Knowledge of CAD (preferably AutoCAD).
  • Abilities in working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Package.

Professional Requirements

The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and have strong knowledge of construction details and building processes. They will also have strong awareness of financial aspects of architectural projects and the ability to analyze and evaluate costs, offers, and budgets.

Languages

The candidate should be fluent in English, French, and/or German, with any additional language being a plus.
