Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Development Project Leader to join our team at Swatch Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing retail design concepts for Swatch POSs within our corporate identity.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement retail design concepts for Swatch POSs within our corporate identity.
- Manage all aspects of the store design process from design inception to completion, including review of suppliers and local architects technical drawings and construction management.
- Work independently, efficiently, and monitor projects within the given timeline and quality standards.
- Manage effective budget for all stores and control all project costs and capital expenditure until projects close out.
- Closely collaborate with all external parties, including contractors, consultants, clients, and suppliers, as well as all internal departments.
- Supervise external architects, consultants, engineers, and suppliers.
- Effectively communicate relevant information to direct managers.
- Resolve and/or escalate challenges in a timely fashion.
- Ensure project documents are complete, up to date, and stored appropriately.
Requirements
- University Degree in Architecture/Interior Design and a minimum of 5 years of Retail experience or in related fields or in Project Management.
- Computer skills: Knowledge of CAD, preferably AutoCAD.
- Abilities in working with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Package.
Professional Requirements
You are creative, detail-oriented, and have strong knowledge in construction details and building process. Furthermore, you have strong awareness of financial aspects of architectural projects and capacity to analyze and evaluate costs/offers/budgets.
In addition, you are a multi-tasker with effective communication skills.
Languages
You are fluent in English, French, and/or German, any additional language is a plus.
