Trusted Domestic Professional for a Family in Geneva

We are looking for a reliable and skilled domestic professional to join our family in Geneva. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a family setting, particularly with children, as we have a nanny who will also require occasional support.

The main responsibility of the role is to maintain a high standard of cleaning and ironing, with the ability to also cook and assist in the kitchen when time allows. During the summer months, the candidate will be responsible for keeping the house clean and organised while the family is on holiday.

We require the candidate to be fluent in English, French or Italian and have a strong work ethic, being punctual and organised. It is also essential that the candidate has EU/Swiss passport or Swiss Permit, and can provide written letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can validate.

The family lives in a big house with a garden, and we offer a long-term contract of at least 2-3 years, with a market rate salary in Canton Geneva.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning the house, including the terrace and entrance

Changing linen

Ironing and laundry

Caring for the newborn while the nanny picks up the older children from school

Cooking or assisting in the kitchen, when time allows

Keeping the house clean and organised during the summer months

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland: EU/Swiss passport or Swiss Permit
  • Written letters of recommendation or job certificates that we can validate
  • Punctual and organised work ethic
  • Fluent in English, French or Italian
  • Resident in Geneva
