Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Manager to join our Client Onboarding & Administration department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the Tax Compliance team, implementing ongoing projects, and supervising operational activities related to international tax compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations
- Establish clear goals and objectives, prioritize tasks, and develop effective systems and processes to manage time, resources, and information.
- Oversee operational tasks, including yearly workflows, relating to tax compliance, including recommendations issued.
- Supervise second-line of defense controls to ensure procedures are properly applied internally.
- Oversee the timely preparation of all tax compliance reportings.
- Projects
- Follow-up on novelties in the tax compliance field, analyzing tax compliance rules, and translating them into procedures.
- Drive the writing of ad-hoc memoranda on specific topics, participate in internal reports, and provide training to the team.
- Detect problems, trace potential causes, and make active decisions.
- Team Management
- Lead and support a team of 3 persons, fostering a positive work atmosphere and setting performance expectations.
- Support employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
- Lead the recruitment process and ensure new hires are properly introduced to the team.
Qualifications
- Master of Laws is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of French and English is a must; proficiency with Excel is a plus.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in QI, FATCA, and AEOI, preferably in a banking environment.
- Previous experience in a management role.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented, team player.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
