Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Accounting and Finance team at SHL Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving financial excellence.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of accountants and financial analysts in maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure internal controls are in place to mitigate financial risks.
  • Supervise statutory audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and external partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 6 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, including Swiss GAAP FER.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on driving results and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Willings to travel regularly to international sites.
