About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Consultant to join our team at STAEGER PERSONAL PARTNERS. As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients, with a focus on corporate tax matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate corporate income tax accruals and deferred tax positions for group reporting purposes
  • Monitor and assess potential Swiss tax risks, both overall and on a transaction-by-transaction basis
  • Prepare and submit tax returns and declarations for corporate income tax, VAT, WHT, and stamp duty
  • Track provisional and final corporate income tax invoices
  • Draft tax rulings and communicate with the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (SFTA) on these rulings
  • Support our Chief Tax Officer in international projects
  • Stay informed about relevant changes in the regulatory environment and keep our Chief Tax Officer up-to-date
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or Law
  • Diploma as Swiss Certified Tax Expert (Steuerexperte) is preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in an auditing and tax consultancy firm or within an international company
  • Familiarity with Swiss accounting and reporting standards is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Excel, and knowledge of accounting software Abacus is a plus
  • Good knowledge of English (corporate language) and German
