About the Role

This position reports to the IS Service Lead Manager and is part of the Motion (MO) Data & Analytics team. The team supports common Data and Analytics services for Motion and other Business Areas, with a focus on delivering critical services using Snowflake as the main platform.

As Motion IS Service Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the framework to deliver services in scope, on time, within budget, and in line with customer expectations. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Relex Governance Board and Relex Application Owner, which provide global transactional and reporting services for operations management, continuous improvement, and global quality management.

The ideal candidate will be located in Poland, India, or any of our European locations. As Service Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing inputs for service attributes and taking ownership and knowledge of the service for service management;
  • Escalating Point of Contact for Major Incidents;
  • Attending service review meetings to facilitate service management;
  • Improving the service in cooperation with the Continuous Service Improvement teams;
  • Attending Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Operational Level Agreement (OLA) creation meetings;
  • Implementing the service delivery strategy and service delivery plan for assigned service(s);
  • Managing the cooperation with key supplier(s) in daily manner, and ensuring actions are taken according to the defined priorities;
  • Ensuring work is compliant with Corporate IS and any other applicable ABB Regulations and Guidelines (internal and external);
  • Managing the service financials according to received budget, and ABB regulations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in information management, Computer System, Business Engineer, or a similar field, with +3 years of experience in Data Analytics. Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken), and some knowledge of ITIL processes, Scrum Framework, and IS technology MS Stack is required. Excellent experience in figuring out business requirements and translating them into technical IS capabilities and solutions is also necessary. Strong experience in project planning and execution, as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle, is required. Proven ability to manage internal and external senior stakeholders is also essential.
